An Introduction to Ceremonial Prayer

Ceremonial Prayer has played an important role in many cultures and religions since before the days of the Old Testament (Tanakh). Even today ceremonial prayer can be found in the workings of the big three monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. From standing at the Wailing Wall to saying Hail Mary’s or even facing Mecca five times a day to pray, ceremonial prayer is very much alive. This workshop will allow the participant to see up close a layout along with the tools utilized to conduct a pagan ceremonial prayer. A ceremonial prayer will not be conducted during the workshop. This workshop is intended to bring a better understanding of non-mainstream ceremonial prayer techniques and practices.

This workshop is open to people of all faiths.
